Evangelism is done by the entire church as each person does their part
For example a person with the gift of faith prays for someone to come to church (fellowship of faith), while the person with the gift of mercy takes care of their special needs, the encourager comes along and greets them as they visit and the preacher edifies with the Word of God and on and on.
This biblical truth needs to be taught and caught as a Body of Believers or else ministry is done to individualistically.
Ephesians 2:22 describes God’s Spirit dwelling in the gathered people of God together and not just individually. This ministry philosophy of corporate dependence is found in text such as 1 Corinthians 12-14, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, 1 Peter 4 and other passages that allow the giftedness of each person to come together as intended.
