Our Ministry Verse
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. You attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 2: 1-5
God created us for worship. And He is the focus of our worship--for what He has done, what He is doing and what He continues to do through His blessings. Music and the arts are blessings God has given us for His praises.
The purpose of our worship is to . . .
freely & passionately worship Christ in spirit and in truth and with thanksgiving
grow deeper in His Word & wisdom, reflecting His glory
magnify His presence in our church family, the Silicon Valley and beyond
make way for the Spirit to empower us 24/7
sing of His grace, mercy, love, peace and salvation
praise HIm in the spirit of unity
praise Him in a manner that will peak the curiosity of those who do not know Christ
Clap your hands, raise your hands, pat your feet, sway, stand up or sit, humbly bow in adoration, silently reflect, shout out loud, say "amen" or "hallelujah"--the possibilities during worship are endless. It all happens in a contemporary setting with holy grooves and challenging lyrics that go straight to your heart. Our music is as diverse as our church family. And, creative media segments help to view God's plan for us in the reality of our everyday lives.
We envision an expanding, exciting worship ministry with a wholistic approach to praise involving mind, body, spirit and life circumstance by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through prayer, sheparding, teaching and mentoring we envision a worship ministry encouraging and enabling worship leaders, singers, musicians, artists, dancers and more as we boldly reclaim the arts for the glory of our Living God.
